Following yesterday's Sky Bet League One victory over Sheffield United, Walsall top scorer Craig Westcarr was the target of abuse from a disgruntled Sheffield United supporter.The abuse included a homophobic slur several 'death wish' style statements.
Walsall Football Club issued a brief statement via Twitter, confirming contact with West Midlands Police, who have started an investigation into the incident.
