DEFENDER HOLDEN SNAPPED UP

Walsall have today completed the signing of 32-year-old former Bolton Wanderers, Shrewsbury Town and Rochdale defender Dean Holden, on a one-year contract.

Dean is predominantly known as a right-back but can also play in the centre of defence.

Holden spent the majority of last season with then npower League One side Rochdale, and was released at the end of last season.
