Walsall fans-favourite Emmanuel Ledesma is believed to be extremely close to agreeing terms with npower Championship side Middlesbrough, several other Championship clubs including Nottingham Forest have been trailing the talented twenty-three-year-old Argentine, since his surprise return to Walsall in January, however Boro are said to be firm favourites to acquire his signature.



Walsall have offered 'Emmy a new two-year-deal, that if signed would make him one of the highest paid players in Saddlers history. This however, it is looking increasingly unlikely as his agent Luca Cominelli believes a deal is "90% done."
