Walsall FC, alongside long-term partners Pallet-Track, have announced that the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity will serve as one of the club's official charity partners for the 2026/27 season.The MAAC, who provide life-saving work daily, will receive further support thanks to backing from the football club, thanks to an introduction from the Wolverhampton-based logistics firm.
Pallet-Track are entering the second year of its stadium sponsorship deal with the club (now managed by Head Coach Lee Grant) and it’s thanks to its long-standing partnership with both MAAC and the football club that they were able to introduce the organisations to each other.
MAAC is Pallet-Track’s nominated charity and has pledged to raise £150,000 by the end of 2028 to fund its critical care car, which supports night-time operations and delivers 24-hour emergency cover.
The Midlands Air Ambulance Charity will have two ‘takeover’ days during the 2026/27 campaign whereby they can bring mascots to the stadium and merchandise to sell alongside holding raffles and conducting fundraising.
Volunteers from MAAC and Pallet-Track will be present to maximise awareness, which will be boosted further by Pallet-Track donating a halfway line pitch-side advertising board to MAAC, similarly to last season.
Over the last three years, Pallet-Track have donated £89,000 to the charity to support its vital work and was recognised for their generosity at the charity’s Corporate Partnership Award in 2025.

"Each MAAC mission is increasing in cost so it is vital we continue to work together to ensure our community is supported by this incredible charity.

Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is responsible for funding and operating three air ambulances and a fleet of critical care cars across the largest air ambulance operating region in the UK.
