Walsall boss Lee Grant admitted he wasn't happy to take just a share of the spoils after seeing his side play out a goalless draw at home to Grimsby Town.
Playing in the match that saw former Saddler and Mariner Alan Buckley collect the very first 'Walsall FC Honour Cup', neither side was able to capitalise upon any of their goal-scoring opportunities in front of the Sky Sports cameras.
The result sees the Saddlers continue their unbeaten record, whilst goalkeeper Jed Ward made it three games without conceding a goal, but Grant still wishes his side could've taken all three points.
When asked whether he was satisfied with a point, Grant said: "No, never is the short answer.

"I said it before the game that they’ve got a very good team, they’re well coached, and they will finish in the top seven in my opinion.
"I’ve not seen anything there that changes my opinion on that, but I want us to attack the game more.
"We probably didn’t do enough of that in the first forty-five, but we came out with a much better mentality and energy in the second half.
"I want to see more of that. We have to start games like that more so, but we’re showing so much that I love in terms of our character.
"Our ability to defend the goal, the goalkeeper is there when needed, and some of the core principles we’ve worked really hard to instil into the group are present."
