Jed Ward Named in Carabao Cup Team of the Round

The summer signing was in superb form in midweek as the Saddlers knocked Championship opposition out of the competition.

Walsall goalkeeper Jed Ward has been named in the Carabao Cup Team of the Round following his superb showing against Bristol City in Round One.

Producing ten saves on the way to a well-deserved clean-sheet, the Saddlers secured their place in Round Two - where they'll face Leyton Orient - as Aaron Pressley scored the only goal of the game early in the second half.
