Walsall's 2026/27 Fan Engagement Plan Published

Walsall FC have published the 2026/27 Fan Engagement Plan, confirming how they plan to connect with the supporters over the new campaign.
Bescot Banter - Walsall FC NewsThe Club has published the Fan Engagement Plan for the 2026/27 season, which outlines the key ways Walsall FC continue to strengthen communication and build positive relationships with our supporters throughout the campaign.

The plan sets out a clear roadmap for how the club will engage, communicate and collaborate with Saddlers fans over the season.

It builds on the strong foundations laid in recent years and has been shaped by ongoing dialogue with supporters through structured feedback channels and regular opportunities for fans to share their views.

Key features of this season’s plan include:

  • Structured quarterly updates from Club Leadership (written or video) in September 2026, December 2026, February 2027 and May 2027
  • Continued delivery of Fan Focus Groups, scheduled for September 2026, January 2027 and May 2027
  • Expanded Saddlers United activity, delivering more themed matchdays and widening community participation
  • A continued matchday drop‑in clinic, staffed by Fan Engagement staff
  • Regular supporter engagement events, including two Fans’ Forums across the season (Autumn/Winter 2026 and Summer 2027)
  • Increased transparency through structured media access, including senior‑staff interviews with Express & Star, BBC WM, Yellow Ribbon Podcast and Gabriel Sutton

This follows a highly productive 2025/26 season, during which the club made strong progress across all areas of our Fan Engagement Plan. Highlights from last season include:

  • Achieving Gold status in the EFL Family Excellence Scheme for the third consecutive season
  • Securing a Bronze Award for Equality, Diversity & Inclusion at the Football Business Awards
  • Delivering more themed matchdays through Saddlers United, strengthening inclusion and widening community participation
  • Hosting a Meet the Head Coach & Head of Football event with BBC WM, alongside two Fans’ Forums and regular CEO/Board updates
Club officials are proud of the progress made so far and remain committed to listening, learning and working closely with supporters to make continued improvements.
