Walsall Sign Coventry City Midfielder Isaac Moore

The Saddlers have added to their midfield options with this latest new arrival.
Bescot Banter - Walsall FC NewsWalsall have confirmed the signing of Coventry City midfielder Isaac Moore, who arrives at the Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium on a season-long loan.

20-year-old Moore, a product of the Sky Blues' youth system, spent last season on loan in the National League, spending the first half of the season at Forest Green Rovers before linking up with Solihull Moors during the winter Transfer Window.

Isaac put pen to paper on a new three-year deal in June last year before getting his first taste of senior football in the National League with Forest Green Rovers, initially on a season-long loan.

Under the guidance of Robbie Savage, the midfielder impressed and made 25 appearances in all competitions with four goals and four assists to his name, his first coming in the National League Cup against Wolves U21s where he captained the side.

Speaking via the club's official website, Walsall Head Coach Lee Grant insisted he's pleased to add Isaac to his squad and is keen to see him develop both on and off the pitch. He said: "I’m pleased to welcome Isaac to the club.

"He’s someone we’ve been monitoring for some time and he’s an incredibly motivated young man who is really keen to show everyone what he is all about.

"At the age of 20, Isaac arrives with some good experiences under his belt at both Forest Green Rovers and Solihull Moors and a real eagerness to continue to learn, develop and give his all when out on the pitch.

"We’d like to thank Frank and our colleagues at Premier League Coventry City for putting their faith and trust in us with one of their young talents, and we look forward to playing our part in helping him grow as a player and seeing him contribute for us."
