Walsall's Under-18s were back in pre-season action on Saturday morning as they made their way to Wiltshire and took on Swindon Town, with both sides looking to build fitness ahead of the new campaign. After taking on an experienced Worcester City in midweek, the young Saddlers were faced with similarly aged competition on Saturday, with the young Robins posing a different challenge to the one they faced at Sixways Stadium.

The match was played in very hot and humid conditions as the summer heatwave shows few signs of coming to an end, leaving the players to navigate a rather uncomfortable few hours.
An unsurprisingly tight affair, the match saw two goals scored in the second forty-five, as the home side struck with less than thirty seconds of the second-half in the books.
As ever, the second half was riddled with stoppages as the teams made changes in a bid to offer match minutes to players on the bench, whilst also taking a look at the options available to them.
The second goal of the game arrived with five minutes of normal time remaining, as the Robins ensured victory, as the new Youth Alliance campaign draws ever closer.
