Paul Makavore Signs for Stoke City

The youngster has signed his first professional contract.

Former Walsall scholar Paul Makavore has signed for Sky Bet Championship side Stoke City, where he'll link up with their under-21s.

 

A striker by trade, 18-year-old Makavore made his Walsall first-team debut on Tuesday, 28th October 2025 as the Saddlers took on Chelsea Under-21s in the group stage of that season's EFL Trophy competition.
