The Club has confirmed that defender Rico Browne has put pen-to-paper on a new contract at the Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium.22-year-old Browne has agreed to a new two-year contract, with the option of a further year in the club's favour, ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
Joining the club from Birmingham City in September 2024, Browne has so far made a total of 31 first-team appearances and also enjoyed a loan spell with Tamworth.
Speaking via the club's official website, Rico welcomed the opportunity to stay in WS1, he said: "I’m delighted to be extending my stay at the club.
"After speaking with the gaffer and hearing his vision for the team, it was an easy decision for me. The direction the club is heading in is really exciting, and I can’t wait to be a part of what’s to come.
"I was pleased to get plenty of games under my belt last season, but for me that was only the beginning. I know there are even more levels to my game, and I’m determined to show that this season.
"To all the fans, thank you for your support so far - I can’t wait to get back out there, keep improving every week and do everything I can to help bring success to this football club."
