Former Walsall midfielder Jake Hollman has signed for A-League side Sydney FC on a three-year contract, following his earlier-than-planned departure from the club.Hollman, a product of Sydney's youth system, joined the Saddlers from Macarthur FC in the summer of 2025, but was only able to make eight first-team appearances during a frustrating spell in WS1.
Before making the move to the Black Country, Hollman made over a century of appearances for Macarthur, playing his part in two Australia Cup wins in 2022 and 2024.
An Australia Under-21 international, he also found the net 16 times during his time at Macarthur and played six times in the AFC Cup – now known as AFC Champions League Two.
Jake, who was also subject to a contract clause that could've extended his contract for a further year, came to terms on a termination of his deal in order to return to Australia.
