The Club has confirmed that Terry Connor will depart from his role within the Men’s First Team coaching staff when his contract expires later this summer.Posted via the club's official website, Saddlers.co.uk, the club said: Terry joined the Saddlers initially on an interim basis in November as cover for then Assistant Head Coach Gary Waddock, who took a short period of absence to undergo ankle surgery, before returning to WS1 for a second spell in February following Gary’s departure to join Wealdstone as their new Manager.
Connor enjoyed a successful start to life at the Saddlers, with his first league match ending in a 4-2 win at Newport County, a result coupled with a further six victories and two draws in his first ten games in all competitions.
With a wealth of experience under his belt from an extensive playing and coaching career, Terry has shown true dedication and a positive work ethic throughout his time at WS1, becoming an extremely popular figure in the process.
His experience and knowledge of the game over his career have been invaluable to everyone both on and off the pitch, and he will always be welcome back at the Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium.
