Soon-to-be former Walsall defender Aden Flint has posted a statement thanking all at the club for their support as he begins to look to begin a new chapter in his career.Recently named amongst a lengthy list of players who will depart for pastures new when their contracts expire at the end of June, Flint insisted he was proud of his performances during his year-long stay in WS1.
Joining the Saddlers from Mansfield Town in the summer of 2025, Aden made a total of forty-eight first-team appearances, scoring two goals.
Issued via his official Instagram account, Aden's statement reads: "A season full of highs and lows, but ultimately failed to achieve what we all wanted personally and collectively as a club.
"It’s been a privilege to captain this club for the season, and I always gave 100% every time I pulled the shirt on regardless of what people say or think.
"I’m proud of every single appearance I made for [Walsall FC]. Wish the club nothing but success for the future."
