Walsall Under-18s were back in EFL Youth Alliance – North action on Saturday morning as they took on Bradford City at Scotchman Road in Manningham, which is home to Campion AFC.The young Saddlers arrived at the match on the back of a midweek defeat to Notts County, which saw them take the lead before eventually being dragged back onto level terms ahead of a disappointing defeat.
WALSALL

Substitutes: Zion Tuitt, Ayden Bills, Jude Worrall, Levi Wain, Ben Roberts
Saturday's match was almost a carbon copy of the loss to the Magpies, as Finn Teesdale scored for the second time in as many games, the forward giving his team the lead with just ten minutes on the clock.
After leading for the entire first-half, the young Saddlers' resistance was broken twelve minutes into the second half when the Bantams levelled the scores.
Walsall, however, did have an opportunity to go ahead later in the half when the referee awarded a penalty but saw his effort saved, only for the home side to add to that disappointment by taking the lead a couple of minutes later.
Another defeat for Walsall but no time to dwell as they'll be back in action on Tuesday when they welcome Carlisle United to Ray Hall Lane.
