Walsall were back in Sky Bet League Two action on Easter Monday when they made their way to the Nigel Eady County Ground and took on Swindon Town.
Looking to continue their unbeaten run under interim boss Darren Byfield, the Saddlers should have opened the scoring in the second half when Kacper Lopata couldn't get the ball under control before Daniel Kanu fired wide.
The first goal of the game arrived with sixty-six minutes played when Jame Jellis came off the bench to score his first goal of the season. Aaron Loupalo-Bi credited with the assist.
Sadly for the Saddlers, they couldn't hold onto their lead as Fletcher Holman became the second player to come off the bench to score, as Connor Ripley's superb long throw saw him get on the end of the ball and slot it under Myles Roberts.
The home side went into the lead in second-half stoppage time when Aaron Drinan scored from just inside the area following a lapse in the Saddlers' backline as they expected an offside to be signalled.
