Walsall striker Daniel Kanu was named the 2025/26 Sky Bet League Two Young Player of the Season at Sunday evening's EFL Awards.

On loan from League One side Charlton Athletic, Kanu has scored eighteen goals across 43 first-team appearances since arriving in WS1 last summer, unsurprisingly drawing the attention of voters.
