Walsall Appoint Adam Davy as Associate Director

Adam Davy has been appointed onto the club's Board of Directors.
Bescot Banter - Walsall FC NewsThe Club has announced the appointment of Adam Davy, long‑serving Director of the Walsall FC Foundation, as an Associate Director of Walsall Football Club.

Adam brings an exceptional depth of experience to the advisory role, having dedicated over 30 years of his career to the Foundation and the Club’s charity, beginning his journey with the Club as an 18‑year‑old in 1994.

Over the decades, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the Foundation’s work, leading programmes that have touched all corners of the borough and helped thousands of people through sport, education, health and community engagement.

His leadership has helped to grow and strengthen the Foundation’s activities, build strong relationships with local partners and ensure the Foundation reflects the needs and aspirations of the communities it serves.

As an Associate Director, Adam will contribute to the voluntary advisory work carried out by all of our Associate Directors; a group that also includes Roy Whalley, Richard Tisdale, Richard O’Kelly and Graham Whittaker.

Adam’s appointment recognises not only his long service and expertise, but also his deep understanding of the Club and the communities we work with. His insight, combined with the Foundation’s significant footprint across the borough, will help strengthen the Club’s community strategy and wider decision‑making.

Speaking via the club's official website, Adam said, "Personally, I am delighted to have been approached and appointed as an Associate Director.

"In my day‑to‑day role as Foundation Director, we aim to use the power of football to change people's lives across Walsall.

"Off the field, the Club is such an integral part of the town and can be used to drive so much positive social change.

"Whilst the football will always be a top priority, I am excited to be able to use my experience and years across the Club to add extra value to everything that Walsall FC has to offer the wider borough.

"The Club has a proud tradition of being a community club, and it will be a privilege to be more involved in wider opportunities. I will be doing my best to make a difference where I can and can’t wait to get started."

We look forward to the insight and guidance Adam will bring as we continue to build a positive, lasting impact across the town and beyond.
