Walsall returned to League Two action on Saturday afternoon as they made their way down the M54 to the Croud Meadow and took on Shrewsbury Town.
Walsall grabbed the opening goal of the game a couple of minutes before the thirty-minute mark when Priestley Farquharson showed a nice touch as he controlled the ball before slotting it into the corner of the Shrews' goal.
The home side remained patient and, in the sixth minute of four added on at the end of the first-half, levelled the scores via an Iwan Morgan free kick, much to the frustration of the travelling faithful.
Walsall went on to re-establish their lead shortly after the match reached the hour mark, when Farquharson flicked a header into the back of Matthew Cox's net – a game to remember for the Priest!
