Jenson Kilroy started, and Ronan Maher was named on the bench as Alvechurch and Tamworth faced-off in the Birmingham Senior Cup at the Lamb on Tuesday evening.
The opening goal of the game went the way of the Church, when Manny Ilesanmi was on hand to crash the ball home following a goal-moth scramble after Jas Singh saved an initial effort.
Tamworth levelled the scores via Teo Kurtaran with 76 minutes played before Ronan put the Lambs ahead and, eventually, through to the next round.
