Walsall's newest recruit enjoyed a debut to remember of Friday evening as he played his first match for Drogheda United.Joining the Saddlers from Bedford Town in midweek, Jago Godden was sent on loan to the Saddlers' stablemates Drogheda and made an immediate impact for the Drogs.
Named on the bench as the Drogs visited Eamonn Deacy Park for their opening game of the new League of Ireland Premier Division campaign, Jago was introduced into the action shortly after the hour mark.
Taking the place of Shane Farrell, Jago would go on to grab the only goal of the game in second-half stoppage time to help his new side begin with a win.
