Walsall Handed Triple Boost as Roberts, Richards, & Kanu to Remain in WS1

The Saddlers have been handed a triple boost as three loanees will remain with the club until the end of the season.
Bescot Banter - Walsall FC NewsWalsall boss Mat Sadler has confirmed that loanees Myles Roberts, Rico Richards and Daniel Kanu will remain at the Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium for the rest of the season.

On loan from Watford, Port Vale, and Charlton Athletic respectively, two of the trio have made several first-team appearances since arriving in WS1 last summer.

After seeing Jid Okeke, Dan Cox, and Ryan Finnigan all recalled by their parent clubs over the last few weeks, the news that Roberts, Richards, and Kanu will remain can only be seen as a positive.

Though Myles and Daniel have featured prominently since arriving at the club, Rico Richards has seen his chances limited, as he has made just ten appearances compared to Roberts' twenty-seven and Kanu's twenty-five.

Speaking via the Express & Star, Sadler said: "Obviously good news with Daniel because his loan recall is over now.

"So he will be with us for the rest of the season. That's great news, and it feels like that. The same with Myles, he had other options that he turned down, and Rico Richards will also be with us for the remainder of the season.

"Let's bring everything together now and get going again for a second half to the campaign that we're all looking forward to."
