Walsall were back in action on Sunday afternoon as they visited Carrow Road and took on Norwich City in the Third Round of this season's Emirates FA Cup.
The opening goal of the game went the way of the home side when Matej Jurasek slammed the ball past Myles Roberts from just inside the area, following a shift attacking move.
The Canaries doubled their lead with twenty-four minutes on the clock, when Jovon Makama was quickest to react after his teammate Jack Stacey saw an effort saved. Makama in the right place at the right time.
Norwich added a third goal in the early throwings of the second half, as Makama scored his second with a powerful effort that gave Roberts no chance.
Makama grabbed his third and the Canaries' fourth of the contest with just ten minutes of the second-half on the clock, a dismal afternoon for the Saddlers as they offered nothing for the fans to get behind.
Walsall scored a goal of their own midway through the half, when substitute Courtney Clarke broke free of his marker to drive towards goal before unleashing a superb, curling effort, into the back of the net.
The home side reestablished their four goal advantage late in the game when Tony Springett came off the bench and put the game well beyond the dismal Saddlers.
