Walsall have confirmed that defender Daniel Cox has returned to parent club Derby County after being recalled by the Rams.
19-year-old Cox joined the Saddlers on a season-long loan in the summer, but has managed just seven appearances in all competitions, including regular appearances in this year's Vertu Trophy campaign.
