Loan Watch: Saturday, 29th November 2025

Here is this weekend's look at how the loaned-out Saddlers got on.
Bescot Banter - Walsall FC News
There are a handful of Saddlers currently out on loan, with players from the academy and first-team looking to impress and potentially force their way into Mat Sadler's first-team plans.

Sam Oliver • Dudley Town
Young defender Oliver went straight into the starting XI as Dudley Town made their way to the Creative Hut Stadium and took on 1874 Northwich in the Midland Football League.

The game got off to a strong start for Dudley as former Saddlers scholar Tom Owen put them into the lead with just ten minutes of the first-half played.

The home side levelled the scores early in the second forty-five when Rob Hopley's effort hit the back of the net, before Mark Jones put them into the lead ten minutes later.

Dudley were ultimately able to take a share of the spoils when Kyle Moseley hot home with thirteen minutes of normal time remaining.

Sam enjoyed a strong debut, with spectator Ryan Bird telling us that the youngster was 'unbelievable', having 'won every aerial duel there was to win.' Going on to say that he was 'Composed on the ball as well, didn’t look out of place at all.'

Ronan Maher • Tamworth
Ronan retained his starting spot as the Lambs made their way to Brunton Park and took on Carlisle United in the National League.

The home side took the lead midway through the first half when Georgie Kelly reacted quickly to a loose ball following Chris Conn-Clarke's saved effort, as the visitors fell behind.

Tamworth levelled the scores with seven minutes of the first-half remaining when Maher's ball into the box was met by Jordan Ponticelli, who sent a flicked header into the corner of the net.

Sadly, the Lambs didn't go on to secure a point as Kelly grabbed his and the Cumbrians' second of the game eleven minutes from time, to take all three points.

Charlie Wragg • Halesowen Town
Charlie came off the bench and scored as the Yeltz welcomed Bishop's Stortford to the Grove on Saturday afternoon.

The match was a high-scoring affair, with each side scoring four goals but having to settle for a share of the spoils.

The visitors scored the game's first two goals and went into the break with an apparently comfortable lead when Bradley Russell and Cole Dasilva scored.

Jake Thompson put Bishop's Stortford into a three goal lead nine minutes into the second half, but that wouldn't be enough to seal the win, as Alex Gudger gave Halesowen hope later in the half.

Remarkably, Cole Dasilva grabbed a second goal of the contest eight minutes from time, putting his side 3-1 ahead, but goals from McKauley Manning (88'), Charlie Wragg (91'), and Jason Cowley (90+5') the home side took a welcome share of the spoils.

Levi Amantchi • Rochdale
Levi was an unused substitute as the Dale retained their place at the top of the National League with a 2-0 triumph over Eastleigh at the Crown Oil Arena.

An own goal from Lloyd Humphries, along with Tarryn Allarakhia's effort seventeen minutes from time proved to be enough to secure the win for the home side.
