There are a handful of Saddlers currently out on loan, with players from the academy and first-team looking to impress and potentially force their way into Mat Sadler's first-team plans.
Jenson Kilroy — Hungerford Town
Jenson made his Hungerford Town debut as he was named in the starting XI for their Southern League Premier Division South clash with Sholing.
The young goalkeeper's spell didn't get off to the greatest start when Vinnie Tume put Sholing ahead with twelve minutes played.
Hungerford swiftly levelled the scores when Fabio Lopez got on the end of a cross to bundle the ball over the line, but parity was short-lived as Sholing went back ahead via Michael Folivi before the break.
The Crusaders levelled the scores once again just before the hour mark, when Harry Williams (not that one) pounced upon some sloppy defending to make it two-all.
Parity was once again short-lived as Sholing went on to take the lead via a Folivi penalty before Jake McCarthy put them two ahead later in the second-half.
Hungerford looked to have created a path back into the game when Diamond Edwards put Sholing's lead, only for McCarthy to reestablish their two-goal buffer minutes later.
An eventful afternoon for Jenson as his debut ended in defeat.
Charlie Wragg — Halesowen Town
Charlie was named on the bench as the Yeltz welcomed Needham Market to the Grove for a Southern League Premier Central clash.
The opening goal didn't arrive until the midway point of the second-half, when Todd Parker gave Halesowen the lead.
Jason Cowley's strong season continued with nineteen minutes of the game remaining when hi doubled the Yelz's lead from the spot as Halesowen took all three points.
Charlie was only afforded a short spell of action as he replaced goalscorer Cowley as the match went into second-half stoppage time.
Josh Gordon — Barrow
Josh started as Barrow made their way to the Brewery Field and took on Spennymoor Town in the First Round of the Emirates FA Cup.
The opening goal of the game went the way of the Bluebirds when Elliot Newby capped off an attacking move by popping the ball over the 'keeper and into the back of the net.
Barrow also scored the games' second goal when Kane Hemmings tapped the ball over the line following Ben Whitfield's superb ball across the box.
Josh was replaced with seven minutes of normal time remaining, the Barrow social media team congratulating him on for 'putting in a shift' as Michael Adu-Poku took his place.
