The Walsall Football Supporters’ Trust has confirmed that collections for this season's Christmas Toy Appeal will take place ahead of the Saddlers' League Two meeting with Shrewsbury Town.Set for Saturday,13th December at the Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium, members of the Trust will be running a number of activities designed to give back to the community, celebrate the season, and bring supporters together.
Once again, the Trust will be collecting new toys, books and games for children spending Christmas on the Walsall Manor Hospital Children’s Ward.
Donations can be dropped off at the collection point located near the Club Shop, with every item donated making a real difference to local families at a difficult time of year.
Along with the Toy Appeal, a Memorabilia Stall will be placed at the Locker between 1.30pm and 2.30pm, where there will be wide selection of programmes, handbooks and shirts available.
And finally, a Carol Service will be held near the Main Reception in WS1, with all fans encouraged to attend from around 2.00pm and spread some festive cheer.
