Here is our report from the young Saddlers' Youth Alliance Cup clash with the Millers.

Walsall Under-18s returned to action on Saturday morning as they made their way to Sheffield Hallam University where they would face Rotherham United U18s in the EFL Youth Alliance Cup, Northern Section Round of 16.
After enjoying a couple of weeks without a competitive game, the young Saddlers, who went into the match on the back of two defeats, were hoping to upset the odds and secure a place in the next round.
Barber; Harris, Roberts, Bunn, Pawlowski, Oliver, Kanyi, Oben, Makavore, Etheridge, Nash

It turned out to be a very good trip North for Ryan Simmonds' side as they earned a place in the Northern Section Quarter Final as goals from Jakub Pawlowski (35') and Paul Makavore (55') saw them ease past the young Millers.
