Walsall boss Mat Sadler praised his team for their determination as they made it nine league games without defeat with a one-all away day draw against Crawley Town at Broadfield Stadium.
After on-loan Watford stopper Myles Roberts saved an early Harry McKirdy penalty, the Saddlers ultimately fell behind to a Ryan Loft goal shortly after the thirty-minute mark.
However, following a stern half-time discussion, the team bounced back in the second-half as Connor Barrett lashed the ball home from the edge of the area to secure what could prove to be a crucial point on the road.
Speaking to members of the media shortly after full-time, Sadler recalled what issues he identified during the opening half, before praising his team for their determined display.
Sadler said: "The problems we had to work out were less tactical, and more physical.
"We weren't quite at it, which was unfortunate, but my main reflections straightaway is that we're twelve games into a new team here.
"Everything has gone great so far, but today was that first time where we looked at it, and said, we need to remember who we are here.
"To then put the first half behind us and play the way we did in the second half, will be a brilliant reference point for our team."
