Here's our latest look at how the loaned-out Saddlers got on.
Bescot Banter - Walsall FC News
There are a handful of Saddlers currently out on loan, with players from the academy and first-team looking to impress and potentially force their way into Mat Sadler's first-team plans.

Ronan Maher — Tamworth
Ronan, who has recently been challenged to establish himself in the Lambs' starting XI, was named on the bench as Tamworth took on Boston United in the Enterprise National League's late kick-off on Saturday afternoon.

Taking on a Pilgrims side that included former Saddlers academy prospect Rhys Lovett along with first-teamer's Zak Mills and Jordy Hiwula, there were plenty of familiar faces on display.

Sadly for Ronan, who replaced ex-Saddler Alfie Bates with sixty-five minutes on the clock, he was not on the winning side as Boston scored via Kieren Donnelly - who bagged a brace - and Hiwula before Dillon De Silva scored a consolation for the Lambs deep into stoppage time.

Josh Gordon — Barrow
Josh started and scored as Barrow and Barnet played out a two-all draw at the SO Legal Stadium in Sky Bet League Two.

Assisted by Connor Mahoney, Gordon put the Bluebirds into the lead with ten minutes played, bit this wasn't enough to secure a welcome win for the bottom-half side.

However, after MJ Williams was dismissed with six minutes of the first half remaining, it was the Bees who would score next when Callum Stead levelled in the 51st minute.

Adam Senior went on to put the visitors into the lead after an hour of action, his superb strike giving home goalkeeper 0 no chance.

The final goal of the game went the way of the home side when Barnet defender Nik Tavares, who had pulled off a handful of superb challenges, saw an Elliot Newby effort deflect off him and into the back of the net.

Levi Amantchi — Rochdale
Levi was a late second-half substitute as Rochdale and Woking played out a goalless draw at the Kingfield Stadium in the National League on Saturday afternoon.

Replacing Ryan East with ninety minutes already on the clock, Levi will once again be frustrated as he was not only forced to make do with a place on the bench, but couldn't guide his team to victory.
