The second goal of the game also went the way of Wales when Leicester City forward Christopher Popov got on the end of a Luke Harris ball before lifting an effort over the goalkeeper and into the back of the net.
Dan, who is yet to earn a regular place in Mat Sadler's side, played for the whole game, and could be in contention for this weekend's League Two meeting with Barrow at the Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium.
