Walsall made their way to the Wham Stadium on Saturday afternoon as they took on Accrington Stanley in their tenth outing of the 2025/26 League Two campaign.
The first goal of the game didn't arrive until shortly after the match reached the hour mark, when centre-back Aden Flint opened his account for the season as he headed home from a Courtney Clarke corner kick.
Walsall doubled their lead later in the half when Aaron Pressley secured his second goal of the season after Daniel Kanu saw a shot saved, the ball going into the path of Pressley, who happily sent it into the back of the net.
The home side grabbed a goal back in second-half stoppage time, Charlie Caton giving the Saddlers something to think about.
The Saddlers' two-goal lead was swiftly restored just moments later when Albert Adomah came off the bench to add another goal to his ever-increasing tally.
