
Published via their official website, the FA confirmed that, an independent Regulatory Commission has sanctioned Walsall’s Jamie Jellis for misconduct in relation to breaches of The FA’s betting rules.
It was alleged that the midfielder breached FA Rule E1(b) by placing 2,248 bets on football matches between 30 April 2019 and 04 July 2023, and he subsequently admitted the charge.
The Regulatory Commission imposed a five-month suspension from all football and football-related activity, which is suspended for 12 months, a £1,200 fine and warning after a hearing.'
