Evan Weir Named in League Two Team of the Week

The defender was just one of a handful of Saddlers in fine form at the weekend.

Walsall defender Evan Weir been named in the Sky Bet League Two Team of the Week following his strong performance during the Saddlers' narrow win over Chesterfield on Saturday afternoon.

Forming part of a team that secured its third win and third clean sheet in as many games as Daniel Kanu's solo strike secured all three points against the Spireites, Weir has enjoyed a promising start to the new campaign.
