Charlton Athletic, Stockport County, and Peterborough United have all been linked with a move for Walsall defender Connor Barrett.23-year-old Barrett, who joined the Saddlers from AFC Fylde in the summer of 2024, has made fifty-nine first-team appearances under head coach Mat Sadler.
Enjoying a strong start to the new campaign, Leicester-born Barrett has already scored two goals, and is ranked among the best performers so far this season.
First reported by Football League World, the trio of clubs have plenty of competition on the right side of defence, but are still keen to add Barrett to their ranks.
Connor has at least two years remaining on his current contract at the Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium, and will likely fetch a comparatively high fee if he were to leave during the ongoing Transfer Window.
