Walsall's 2025/26 campaign continued on Saturday afternoon as they welcomed Salford City to town as they went in search of a return to winning ways.

The Saddlers went into the lead with around thirteen minutes of the first-half remaining, when summer signing Harrison Burke was afforded far too much room to head the ball home from a corner. A welcome win.
