MATCH INFORMATION
This weekend's match will kick-off at 3.00pm at the Gills' Priestfield Stadium.
NEWS & VIEWS
Walsall opened their 2025/16 League Two campaign with a welcome win over Swindon Town.
Opening the scoring via Evan Weir's superb free kick, the Saddlers were reduced to ten men later in the first-half when Brandon Comley was dismissed for a last-man foul on Aaron Drinan.
After being dragged back onto level terms by Will Wright's penalty, the Saddlers made the most of a lapse in concentration as Connor Barrett joined Weir on the scoresheet.
Looking to rebound from last season's disappointing collapse into an eventual defeat in the Play-Off Final, the win over Swindon could serve as a good platform to build upon, but will count for very little if it isn't followed up over the coming weeks.
TEAM NEWS
Brandon Comley will be unavailable after being sent off during the first-half of the Saddlers' season-opening victory over Swindon Town.
Summer signing Harrison Burke is available for selection, but may struggle to force his way into the team following the win over the Robins.
THE OPPOSITION
The Gills opened their 2025/26 Sky Bet League Two campaign with a drab draw away to Accrington Stanley laat weekend.
Despite scoring two goals, Stanley shot themselves in the foot when Tyler Walton's 66th minute opener was cancelled out by Devon Matthews' own goal just thirteen minutes later.
