As first reported via the club's official website, the Saddlers have fended off competition for the signature of the highly-rated 22-year-old, who scored 13 goals from centre-back last term.
His performances last campaign earned him a place in the National League North’s Team of the Season, and he was also named as Chester’s Supporters Player of the Season and Players’ Player of the Season.
Burke signed his first professional contract with Chester in October 2020 and a loan spell with Clitheroe followed, before he broke into Chester’s first team in January 2022.
Going on to make 136 appearances, Burke particularly excelled during 2024/25, as his performances and goals helped Chester finish fourth and qualify for the Play-Offs.
Head Coach Mat Sadler admitted he is pleased to add another hungry, young player to his squad, particularly after he had such an outstanding campaign, he said: "Harrison’s had a fantastic season and a fantastic few seasons with Chester.
He’s a highly sought after young player that we beat off competition from clubs in higher divisions than us.
"That shows the identity of who we are and how we’re viewed as a destination for young players that want to come here above going to other clubs higher up in the pyramid because they see us as a place where they can improve, get better, and they’ve seen that with the guys we’ve done that with previously.
"He’s a fantastic defender, he wants to defend first. He’s had some wonderful success in goal scoring, but his first port of call is his defensive work, and he’ll add to that group of young defenders that we want to work with and get better with more experience.
He’s a wonderful person, a real leader at such a young age, and I’m really looking forward to working with him."
