EFL Trophy: Chelsea U21s Added to Walsall's Group

We now know which team will join the Saddlers, Cobblers, and Shrews in Southern Group C.

The draw to confirm which invited under-21s team would be added to the already-drawn Vertu Trophy groups has taken place.

Walsall, who already knew that Northampton Town and Shrewsbury Town will join them in Southern Group C, will also take on Chelsea U21s in the opening stage of this season's competition.

Vertu Trophy Group Stage matches will commence in early September.
