Walsall boss Mat Sadler spoke of his pride after seeing his team book their place in the Final of the Sky Bet League Two Play-Offs.
Taking on Chesterfield in the Second Leg, the Saddlers had a two-goal advantage to build upon as they welcomed the Spireites to WS1 on Friday evening.
After playing out a goalless opening eighty minutes, the Saddlers opened the scoring via Charlie Lakin with nine minutes remaining, with the substitute getting on the end of an Albert Adomah cross.
Chesterfield didn't want to make it easy for their opponents and went on to level the scores via Armando Dobra in second-half stoppage time, only for Adomah to grab his second assist as he set up Levi Amantchi, who grabbed his fourth goal for the club.
Speaking to the assembled media, When asked where Friday evening's achievement ranks in his time in the beautiful game, Sadler said: "Right at the very top for me because it's different.
"When you're playing, you think about yourself. When you're managing, you think about everybody else but yourself.
"So to have everyone enjoy that tonight. Families, friends, everyone, it's everything to me.
"I'm so proud to be this manager and so proud to lead this group. My family and friends - they feel it with you.
"Some of them have been to every single game this season, home and away. You want to share those moments with them and moments that you'll cherish, and things that don't come around every day.
"That's for me and the players. I want them to enjoy this moment right now. We of course know that the job isn't done, we know that there's still another game to go.
"But I'm a big believer of celebrating moments, and this is a proud moment."
