Walsall Linked with Birmingham City Midfielder Alfie Chang

The Saddlers are said to be keen to add to their ranks ahead of Monday evening's Transfer Deadline.

Walsall are being linked with a Transfer Deadline Day move for Birmingham City midfielder Alfie Chang, who could arrive at the Poundland Bescot Stadium on loan for the rest of the season.

A product of the Blues' youth system, 22-year-old Chang has made just twenty-one first-team appearances since turning professional in 2021, after suffering a series of injury setbacks.

First reported by Sunday People Chief Sports Writer Neil Moxley, Chang would provide a new option for Head Coach Mat Sadler, as he looks to build upon Saturday's bounce-back draw with Salford City.
