Match Officials: v Notts County (A)

We now know who has been tasked with taking charge of the meeting between the Saddlers and Magpies.

After ending 2024 at the top of the Sky Bet League Two table, Mat Sadler's Walsall will open 2025 with an awayday trip to Notts County and Meadow Lane.

The EFL has confirmed that Farai Hallam who is from Surrey will take charge of the match with Anthony Da Costa and Martin Parker being named as assistant referees, whilst Stephen Wade has been selected as Fourth Official.
