Cayden Bennett Makes International Debut as St. Kitts & Nevis Draw with San Marino

The 17-year-old defender made his international debut on Sunday evening.
Young Walsall defender Cayden Bennett was a second-half substitute as St. Kitts & Nevis and San Marino played out a goalless draw in the second of their two friendly clashes taking place during the ongoing international break.

Following on from their midweek meeting that saw the Sugar Boyz defeat Sam Marino by three goals to one, the match took place at the imaginatively named San Marino Stadium in Serravalle, San Marino.

The match didn't quite match the quality of the last meeting but did provide a young Saddler and his club with a small piece of history as Caydem who is yet to make a first-team appearance, made his way onto the international stage.

Cayden's international debut came shortly before the match reached the hour mark as he replaced North Carolina FC defensive midfielder Raheem Somersall in the backline. A wonderful moment for Cayden and his family! Congratulations, Cayden.
