Tom Knowles Named in the League Two Team of the Week

The former Yeovil Town man contributed to the Saddlers' only goal on Saturday afternoon.

Walsall winger Tom Knowles has been named in the Sky Bet League Two Team of the Week after grabbing an assist against Stockport County at the weekend.

Knowles, who has scored two goals across twenty-seven appearances so far this season, was on hand to assist Douglas James-Taylor during Saturday's defeat to the table-topping Hatters, with DJT initially levelling the scores before County added two more goals in the second half.

Despite the defeat, Who Scored rated Tom highly enough that he made the cut and becomes the latest Saddler to make it into the Team of the Week.
