Oliver Jones became the latest in a long line of young Saddlers to go out on loan to gain some much-needed experience as he continues to rise through the ranks at Poundland Bescot Stadium.
The defender, who only joined his club hours before, was named on the bench for the Raiders as they took on Thornbury Town in the Hellenic League - Premier Division on Saturday afternoon.
Sadly for Oliver his team, who went into the match in fourth-place compared to their relegation-threatened opponents, weren't able to secure the win as, despite Bailey Fuller's eleventh-minute opener, the visitrs struck twice to take three welcome points.
