Walsall boss Mat Sadler has praised his side for their resilient display as they thrice came back from a goal down to take a share of the spoils against Newport County.
A hat-trick from on-loan Lincoln City man Freddie Draper, after goals from Bryn Morris - the former Walsall loanee grabbing a brace - and Will Evans, saw the Saddlers take a welcome point from a wet and windy Friday Evening in South Wales.
Speaking to the assembled media, including the Express & Star, Mat said; "If you see Graham and Joe on their bench, for them, it feels like a defeat.
"The dressing room that I've just been into, they are pleased that we've got back into the game, but frustrated that the game could've been there for us to win - barring a few moments in the game.
"I'll have to look back at their goals but the first was a hell of a strike, and the second was a fantastic finish as well.
"But there were definitely some key learning points to take from the goal. Does it feel like a victory? Probably not but it was a good feeling to get the point at the end."
