Walsall goalkeeper George Barrett, midfielder Ronan Maher and forward Marvellous Onabirekhanlen are currently out on loan as they look to gain experience and maybe force their way into Mat Sadler's first-team plans.

OUT ON LOAN
NAME ON LOAN WITH LOAN ENDS
GEORGE BARRETT PAGET RANGERS 15 OCT 2023
RONAN MAHER RUSHALL OLYMPIC 6 JAN 2024
MARVELLOUS ONABIREKHANLEN CHASETOWN 6 OCT 2023

Though information is somewhat scarce, we believe George Barrett was among the starters as Paget Rangers took on Sutton United (Birmingham) in their latest Midland Football League - Division One outing of the 2023/24 campaign.

Played at the Coleshill Road Stadium, the game saw three goals scored as Sutton took all three points with a 2-1 win, Dejon Miles scoring for Paget.

Ronan Maher started as Rushall Olympic took on Boston United in the Third Qualifying Round of this season's Emirates FA Cup.

Looking to edge a round closer to the so-called proper stages of the competition, the Pics were left frustrated as Brad Nicholson’s goal before the break saw Boston advance into the next round.

Marvellous Onabirekhanlen was named on the bench as Chasetown took on Clitheroe on Saturday afternoon.

The game looked to be a comfortable one for the Scholars as goals from Ben Lund (12', 26') and Jack Langston (34') put them into a comfortable lead only for the visitors to mount a spectacular comeback with Sefton Gonzales (48'), Jacob Hanson (54'), and Veron Parny (83') saw the spoils shared.

Marv had to make do with around twelve minutes of action as he replaced replaced Jack Langston late in the second-half but was unable to impact the scoreline.
