Walsall goalkeeper George Barrett, midfielder Ronan Maher, and forward Marvellous Onabirekhanlen are currently out on loan as they look to gain experience and maybe force their way into Mat Sadler's first-team plans.

OUT ON LOAN
NAME ON LOAN WITH LOAN ENDS
GEORGE BARRETT PAGET RANGERS 15 OCT 2023
RONAN MAHER RUSHALL OLYMPIC 6 JAN 2024
MARVELLOUS ONABIREKHANLEN CHASETOWN 6 OCT 2023

Marvellous Onabirekhanlen was among the starters as Chasetown took on Prescot Cables on Saturday afternoon.

Chasetown, who are currently using Boldmere St Michaels' Church Road ground as the Scholars Ground undergoes extensive renovations, were unable to secure the win their visitors grabbed the important goals to take three points back up the M6.

Jack Goodwin opened the scores for Prescot after thirty-minutes before James Foley doubled their lead early in the second forty-five.

Jordan Evans was able to halve the deficit with twelve-minutes of normal time remaining but that wasn't enough to spur a comeback as the Scholars fell to defeat.
