More Minutes for Gordon as Guyana Win Again

The left side defender was named in the starting XI once again.
Bescot Banter - Walsall FC NewsWalsall defender Liam Gordon was back in action in Tuesday evening as Guyana took on the Bahamas in their latest CONCACAF Nations League - League B Group D outing of the competition.

Looking to build upon their recent 5-1 victory over Antigua and Barbuda, Guyana were once again amongst the goals as they and the Bahamas managed to notch five goals between them.

It was the Bahamas who opened the scoring as Wood Julmis netted with 39 minutes played, though the Golden Jaguars would eventually get back on level terms with Omari Glasgow scoring just before the break.

Further goals from Stephen Duke-McKenna and Kelsey Benjamin put Guyana two goals ahead before Julmis cut their lead a few of minutes before full time.

Liam started and completed the full ninety minutes and should return home in time for this weekend's League Two meeting with Swindon Town.
