Walsall midfielder Ronan Maher and forward Marvellous Onabirekhanlen are currently out on loan as they look to gain experience and maybe force their way into Mat Sadler's first-team plans.

NAME ON LOAN WITH LOAN ENDS
RONAN MAHER RUSHALL OLYMPIC 6 JAN 2024
MARVELLOUS ONABIREKHANLEN CHASETOWN 6 OCT 2023

Ronan Maher was an unused substitute as Rushall Olympic lost 2-0 to South Shields at the 1st Cloud Arena on Saturday afternoon.

Goals from Aaron Martin and Jourdain Masidi, the Pics midfielder putting the ball into his own net, were enough to see South Shields make it five wins in five home league games.

Marvellous Onabirekhanlen started as Chasetown played host to Shepshed Dynamo in the FA Trophy on Saturday afternoon.

Playing for fifty-five minutes, Marvellous played a part in a superb afternoon for the Scholars as goals from Jack Langston (22' P, 53'), Sam Wilding (46'), Luke Yates (49'), and former Walsall scholar Jayden Campbell (90') were enough to cancel out Shaquille Master's early opener, and secure safe passage to the next round.
